Hang Nadim International Airport (IATA: BTH, ICAO: WIDD), also known as Bandara Internasional Hang Nadim, is located in Batam, Riau Islands, Indonesia. Named after the famous Laksamana Hang Nadim, and is the airport on the island. The runway is the second longest in Southeast Asia, after Kuala Lumpur International Airport with 4,210 m long, and the longest in Indonesia.
As Batam continues to develop its tourism sector, Hang Nadim has proved to be a sufficiently effective airport. Originally developed as an alternative for Singapore Changi Airport (should an emergency force a redirect for aircraft), Hang Nadim has facilities sufficient for Boeing 747s and Airbus A380s, including the longest runway in Indonesia
